Menetrend is an application for Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, Miskolc, Pécs, Nyíregyháza, Kecskemét, Dunaújváros, Kaposvár, Székesfehérvár, Tatabánya, Siófok, Szombathely, Veszprém, Hódmezővásárhely, Eger, Püspökladány, and Berettyóújfalu. It shows the latest public transit schedules and route plans for the cities, as well as for the Budapest area, and lets you create and manage your trip plans. This way you can discover the city more conveniently, without wasting time on the Internet. Menetrend also has an offline mode, so you can create your trip plans even when you don't have a data connection. In this way, you can use it in areas with poor Internet coverage.

Here's how it works:

The app connects to the transport agency's Web server to obtain the current schedule. This way, you can check the route and availability of all the lines in the route that you wish to visit, and you will receive notifications about any change or service alert that occurs.

Additionally, the app can give you information about stations. It can do this either through a station's name and the time of the arrival of the next train at that station or through the name of the station. Menetrend can also give you more information, such as the time of the departure of the previous train, the distance and the expected time for the next train to that station.
